Fedora veröffentlicht System-Abbilder für die Amazon Web Services (AWS) Virtual Machine Plattform, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), welche mit sehr wenig Aufwand die Erstellung von virtuellen Maschinen in der Cloud ermöglicht.

Hinweis für Raspberry Pi-Benutzer
Raspberry Pi-Unterstützung ist nicht in Fedora 18 GA enthalten, weil die Fedora-Release-Richtlinien nicht erfüllt sind. Insbesondere basiert das Raspberry Pi auf einer angepassten Kernel-Version und beinhaltet spezielle GPU-binären Anpassungen, die nicht unter der aktuellen Firmware Ausnahme akzeptiert werden. Est steht trotzdem ein nicht unterstützter "Nightly" Fedora 18 Snapshot zur Verfügung.
Die folgenden Abbilden wurden getestet und werden für die meisten Anwendungsgebiete empfohlen: Versatile Express (QEMU), Trimslice (TEGRA), Beagleboard (OMAP3), Pandaboard (OMAP4) und GuruPlug (Kirkwood) basierte Hardware-Plattformen.
