Detailed Description

Now libpinyin provides 1-3 sentence candidates instead of one sentence candidate, which will greatly improve the guessed sentence correction rate.

Benefit to Fedora

Enhance the experience of Fedora for Chinese Pinyin users by speeding up Pinyin input.

How To Test

For gnome desktop:

  • Check whether "Intelligent Pinyin" is listed in "Region & Language" and default IME list.
  • Try to add "Intelligent Pinyin" to IME list, begin to use the new Pinyin IME.

For non-gnome desktop:

  • Check whether "Intelligent Pinyin" is listed in ibus-setup dialog and default IME list.
  • Try to add "Intelligent Pinyin" to IME list, begin to use the new Pinyin IME.

User Experience

  • With libpinyin 2.0, Chinese users can speed up the pinyin input speed by pressing less keys.
