Fedora 本身并鼓励大家使用效果更好同时更为开放的 ogg 格式音乐。
在 Fedora 9 及 Fedora 10 中，文中的 amarok-extras-nonfree 已经被废弃，其实指向了另一个虚拟包（ virtual package ）： amarok-extras-freeworld 。安装该包后实际安装的是 libtunepimp-extras-freeworld 与 xine-lib-extras-freeworld 两个包，其中包含的相关解码器可以让你的 Amarok 播放 mp3 格式的音乐文件。综上所述，以下几条命令等价：

yum install amarok-extras-nonfree 
```
```
yum install libtunepimp-extras-freeworld xine-lib-extras-freeworld 
```
```
yum install amarok-extras-freeworld
```
见到相关文档不同的表述不要困惑。
Fedora 9 中 amarok-extras-freeworld 在 rpmfusion 软件仓库（ rpmfusion 软件仓库已经取代 livna ）。
Fedora 10 中，暂时 amarok-extras-freeworld 还未进入 rpmfusion ，所以暂时只能直接安装 libtunepimp-extras-freeworld 与 xine-lib-extras-freeworld 包
