Joining the Fedora Ambassadors Project

Who are they?

Fedora Ambassadors are every day people, who go to places where other Linux users and potential users/interested parties gather, and tell them about Fedora the linux distribution, but also the Fedora Project as a whole. Please note: This does not have to be an event as such, telling your neighbours, friends, work colleagues is also a way to spread the word.

Fedora Ambassadors meetings are very important to this project. Please try to attend your monthly regional meeting, to communicate and to learn what other ambassadors are doing. There are meetings for the following regions: APAC, EMEA, and North & Latin America.

Currently, the #fedora-ambassadors channel on freenode is the best place to go for Internet chat. See Fedora Ambassadors Meetings for a list of IRC meeting summaries. Be aware, meetings will be held in #fedora-meeting and not in #fedora-ambassadors.
