1) Association Fedora-fr

Attente de retour d'information de la préfecture, si nous n'avons pas de nouvelle MrTom téléphone pour en savoir plus.

Armelk, contact une association de quartier afin de savoir quelle est leur banque afin de donner l'info a Trashy.

Au sujet des cotisations, le sujet est clos.

2 Discution Fedora Europe Infrastructure

ChitleshGoorah a lancer le sujet de créer une infrastructure Europe de Fedora :

  • Création de guideline.
  • Récolter e l'argent afin de promouvoir Fedora en Europe.
  • Impliquer l'équipe de Fedora-FR (Communauté très active).
  • Montrer que les equipes de Fedora Europe sont actives.

Les questions et réponses de l'equipe de Fedora-FR :

  • Soucis de langue (Anglais de niveau moyen, difficile pour commnuniquer).
  • Fedora-FR a vraiment l'impression de FedoraProject les oublies concernant les goodies pour les évènements majeurs, d'ou la creation d'une association Fedora-Francophone pour subvenir a nos besoins.
  • Fedora-FR n'a en aucun cas l'intention de ce dessolidariser du project Fedora Ambassadeurs.
  • Le point de vu de Fedora-FR est si possible de créer des associations locales qui doivent ensuite se fédérer en association Européenne.
  • Il est vrai que Fedora-FR ne communique pas beaucoup avec FedoraProject sur les actions que nous menons au quotidien, mais cela va changer.
  • Fedora-FR apportera son support, son expérience si d'autres pays souhaite créer son association locale.

Le sujet reste ouvert et doit avancer.

Discution très animée, qui continura sur la Mailing List et dans les semaines suivantes.

3) T-shirts Fedora

La boutique est toujours en construction, plusieurs articles ont été mis a jours.

Nous attendons maintenant l'ouverture du compte bancaire de l'association pour l'ouvrir.


4) Programme FreeMedia

Aucune nouvelle demande pour la Belgique, deux nouvelles demande pour la France.


5) Le site et le wiki

Rien de nouveau, sauf que la Mailling List est a nouveau fonctionnelle.

6) Projet Fedora

Rien de nouveau.


7) Fedora a Nantes

ArmelK sera présent les 2 jours :

  • Journée professionnelle : Table ronde, débat et atelier / Demo de Fedora avec les outils de configuration de LAMP
  • Journée grand public : Démo bureau 3D et demo de FC7 T2

8) Discussion Ouvertes :

  • Fedora present aux RMLL (Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre) à Amiens du 10 au 14 Juillet 2007.
  • Install Party en collaboration avec Parinux à la cité des sciences pour la sortie de Fedora 7.

We waiting the feedback from the "Préfecture" about the registration procedure, if we have no news this week, MrTom call it.

Armelk contact a local organisation about wich bank is good for us (Management cost, legal support, ...).

About the contribution, the subjet is close.


2) Discussion about Fedora Europe Infrastruction

ChitleshGoorah launch a open discussion for a legal entity and infrastructure for Fedora in Europe :

  • Guideline creation.
  • To collecte money to promote Fedora in Europe.
  • To imply Fedora-FR team on this project (Community very active).
  • To show the Europeen activity.


Questions ans answers from the Fedora-FR team :

  • Language issue (the english level is not efficient for some people).
  • Fedora-FR has really the impression of Fedora Project forget them concerning the goodies for major event, this is the major reason we decide to create a local organisation (Financial autonomous).
  • Fedora-FR doesn't have the intention of this cut the link with the Fedora Ambassadors Project.
  • The point of seen Fedora-FR is if possible to create a local organisation first and after that fedarate all to make an Europeen organisation.
  • It is thrue that Fedora-FR doesn't communicate much with FedoraProject on the local actions but that will change.
  • Fedora-FR will bring the support and the experiences if other country wish create a local Fedora organisation.

The subject is open and must advance. Very animated discution, wich will continue on the mailling listand in the following weeks.


3) Fedora T-shirts

Shop has always in construction, we update some articles on it.

Now, we waiting the opening bank account of organisation to open it.


3) FreeMedia Program

no new requests for Belgium and no new requests for France.


5) Fedora-fr website and the wiki

No news, exept the frech mailling list restart after issue.

6) Fedora Project

No news.


7) Fedora in Nantes city

Armelk has present during 2 days :

  • 1st day is for professional people : open discussions, presenations and workshop / Armelk will how the tools of configuration around Lamp technologies.
  • 2nd day is for all : 3D Desktop and show Fedora 7 T2

8) Open discussions

Fedora will be pesent during the RMLL (Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre / World Meetings of the Free Software) in Amiens from the 10 to July 14, 2007 ?

Status of Install Party in collaboration with Parinux in the city of sciences of Paris for the exit of Fedora 7.
