Fedora Tip A Day

This document supports a Fedora welcome screen on first login for new users to guide them with a tip a day feature. The content here may also be used for Web-based projects such as this Wiki to provide a daily tip on pages.

To create a new tip, simply write up the tip as a bullet below and save it.

Please keep your tips simple and direct. If you have a procedure that is more than one or two steps, it probably doesn't belong here. That's OK, you can always make your own page elsewhere! A good rule of thumb is that the tip shouldn't be any longer than about 30-35 words.

No stray bullets, please!
Please don't use bullets other than for a tip itself. If you do, it will confuse the [[RandomQuotes] function on the wiki and your tip will likely be missed.
