Easy tethering via bluetooth
Summary
People expect to connect everywhere also when no wifi connection is available, tethering via usb cable is not very comfortable...so why not improve the user experience with a nice wireless connection to their mobile phone?
Detailed Description
The market is full of netbooks, umpcs and notebooks, people expect to connect everywhere also when no wifi connection is available. Internet keys and mobile phones (tethering) via usb cable are easy to use thanks to network manager, but using a mobile phone as modem totally wireless (so via bluetooth) is a bit hard: you need to bind manually the phone via terminal, you need to edit /etc/bluetooth/rfcomm.conf and configure gnome-ppp (from fedora 9 packages)...
For example, ubuntu users do this (works in fedora too) [1]
It would be nice to have all this stuff integrated in networkmanager and gnome-bluetooth. I don't think it's hard to code.. I'm not a developer, but you just have to create an rfcomm device and use it as legacy modem...
Benefit to Fedora
Fedora NOW is the right choice for netbooks and mobile devices (thanks to the hard work in kernel and networkmanager) so why not improve the user experience with this comfort?
