Each release half of the Fedora Ambassadors Steering Committee (FAmSCo) seats will be open for election of members. Over the course of any two consecutive releases the entire membership of the FAmSCo will be subject to elections. The elections ensure continuous involvement of the community in the decision-making process, as well as rotation of membership to have an inflow of new ideas and views.

All FAmSCo members should be ready to spend considerable amount of time on their FAmSCo responsibilities and to be held accountable for their actions.

The FAmSCo election rules provide more information.
