After the announcement last week<ref>http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-trans-list/2009-April/msg00028.html</ref> about the availability of the Fedora 11 Preview Release Notes for translation, a number of translators have put forward their concerns about the  difficulty in translating these notes due to vast coverage of content and complicated technical text<ref>http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-trans-list/2009-April/msg00089.html</ref>.

As a solution to this, it has been suggested that the Release Notes be restricted to information that is important to general users and useful to migration from on release to another. At present, some of the teams have chosen to either translate the core information, divide the translation work amongst multiple translators or to drop translation for this release.
A number of Fedora Documentation modules<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/trans/2011-May/008971.html</ref> and Fedora Websites<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/trans/2011-May/008990.html</ref> modules were not available for translation for Fedora 15 as they could not be migrated to transifex.net before the release. However, translation can be continued for some of these modules which are being gradually migrated by the writers to transifex.net.

Translation Credit Loss Problem Resolved

A major issue related to the loss[1] of Translator Credits in modules submitted via transifex.net has been resolved by the Transifex development team[2]. The problem had also been escalated to the Fedora Legal team[3][4].
