  • plasma-nm
  • kcm-touchpad

Default apps:

  • web browser: Firefox or Rekonq?
  • mail client: KMail
  • terminal: Konsole
  • IM: kde telepathy
  • Image viewer: Gwenview
  • Music player: Amarok
  • Video player: Dragon
  • Package manager: apper

Theming:

  • Color scheme (light/dark default presets)
  • Plasma theme (light/dark)
  • Cursor theme (oxygen?)
  • Default font (oxygen)

Things to resolve:

  • installation methods and media
  • delivery mechanism
  • HW requirements
  • core package list (w/o deps)
  • non KDE/Qt educational/scientific software
    • many G* libs as part of core system
