I am Alex, a student currently studying Computer Science in the department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies at the University of Benin, Nigeria. I have the basic skills needed when it comes to human relations. I’m well trained in desktop publishing and database management. I’ve worked in a Studio’s multimedia department where I learnt and edited videos and created montages. I’m currently enrolled in a web design program at UNIBEN ICT.
My passion is Linux and my heart is in the open source community. Fedora is where I want to expand my knowledge of Linux and where I want to give back and get involved in this great community and distro. Fedora just feels right to me. I was in the Windows world for many years and I never felt like I really understood the operating system. Linux and Fedora are different. The file system is logical and the terminal is a natural extension. Fedora's default Gnome Desktop is the best implementation to date.
