A:  Instead of moving, you can manually set up a redirect to another category page. See [[Help:Redirect#A_redirect_to_a_page_in_the_category_namespace]] for more information.
If you think that users may be looking for the old category name, or if there are other pages linking to that old category name (use the what links here options on the lower left of the wiki page) - then it would be better to have the category page redirect to a new category page.
If you made the page by mistake and really want the category page deleted, just mark it for deletion.
