Fedora Live CD features

Huidige features:

1. Read-write rootfs zoadat het mogelijk is software te installeren tijdens het draaien van de livecd.
2. Installeren naar hard disk of usb drives
3. Gebruik van SELinux in enforcing mode en andere veiligheids features als default
4. Zo dicht mogelijk blijven bij een normale desktop installatie, schrijf features
5. De mogelijkheid ee normale CD-ROM en CD-R media (minder dan 700MB) of DVD images te creëren
6. Inclusief de beste software
7. Maakt het makkelijk een afgeleide livecd met uw eigen repositories, packages en art work te maken
8. Data persistence
9. API gebruikt door LTSP, appliance creator en anderen.

Finding the Code

The source code for the live CD tools is maintained in git. The repository is at 'git://git.fedoraproject.org/git/hosted/livecd' and can be browsed via the gitweb interface . You can install it easily by installing the 'livecd-tools' package.

Hard Drive Installation

The ability to install to the hard drive is available in Fedora 7 and above releases. After the live media boots, click on the install icon on your desktop to start the installation.
