Description

Launch Fedora CoreOS on the Raspberry Pi 4.

Setup

  1. Obtain a Raspberry Pi 4 device and follow the Updating EEPROM on Raspberry Pi 4 instructions for making sure the EEPROM is fully up to date.

How to test

  1. Follow the Provisioning Fedora CoreOS on the Raspberry Pi 4 documentation to install Fedora CoreOS to the Raspberry Pi 4 using either the U-Boot or the EDK2 boot method. Make sure to set STREAM=next when running `coreos-installer. Note in the results page which boot method was used.

Expected Results

  1. The system launches on the Raspberry Pi 4 according to the instructions.
  2. You can observe the boot process on the VGA console.
  3. You can connect through SSH.
  4. The linked documentation is clear, all steps are understandable, and nothing important is missing from it.
