Description

This test validate the ability of the system to support two RAID volumes (RAID5 and RAID0). A complete installation should be proceed using a second volume RAID0 for the root (aka /) filesystem.For more details on RAID please consult http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redundant_array_of_independent_disks .


How to test

  1. Boot the installer using any available method
  2. Create volumes in Anaconda
  3. Proceed to the partitioning step
  4. Place the root filesystem (aka /) on second volume a RAID0 device

Expected Results

  1. Anaconda completes successfully
  2. Reboot successfully into installed system
  3. / is a raid device (e.g. /dev/md/md0)
