Description

tuned-adm is utility for switching profiles.

How to test

  1. prerequisite: measure bltk in reader mode
  2. tuned-adm list - will list all profiles which could be set
  3. tuned-adm profile laptop-battery-powersave
  4. measure with bltk -R -n 4
  5. tuned-adm off

This command switch your system back to previous setting without tuned and other features.

We can test the same way also these profiles: spindown-disk, default. The other won't probably have good results.

Expected Results

  1. file from bltk
