Description

This test may require a USB or writable optical media (CD or DVD). Testing in a virtual guest is permissible. Additional information on creating live images is available at FedoraLiveCD.


How to test

  1. Prepare the live image for booting. Acceptable boot methods include CDROM, DVD, USB key or a virtual CDROM device (using virt-manager)
  2. From live image desktop, click the icon Install to hard drive
  3. Complete the installation as desired
  4. Reboot the system and remove the Live boot media

Expected Results

  1. The live image boots and logs into a desktop environment
  2. The installer starts without error
  3. The installer completes without error
  4. The system reboots successfully
