| 25 March 2008 | Fedora 9 Beta release |
| 25 March 2008 | Allow Fedora 9 pre-branch |
| 7 April 2008 | Fedora 9 Translation deadline |
| April 2008 | Final Development freeze |
| 8 April 2008 | Branch all packages for Fedora 9 |
| 17 April 2008 | Fedora 9 Preview Release |
| 1 May 2008 | Release Candidate 1 (Not really public) |

Historically Test and General Availability releases happen at 10:00am Eastern US Time, which is either 1500UTC or 1400UTC depending on daylight savings in the United States
