Fedora Releases

Il ciclo di rilascio

Per capire il ciclio di rilascio seguito in Fedora, e conoscere la durata di vita media di ogni rilascio (o release) vedere LifeCycle.

In fase di sviluppo

La release di Fedora attualmente in fase di sviluppo è Fedora 40.

A partire da Fedora 13, No Frozen Rawhide sarà usato per indicare lo sviluppo simultaneo delle seguenti distribuzioni:

  • Releases/Rawhide - Per questa distribuzione, si effettuano aggiornamenti giornalieri senza garanzia di stabilità e si ha come obiettivo la fase iniziale di test del codice appena sviluppato. (Sarà il candidato per Fedora 40 + 1.)
    • Mirrors: development/rawhide
    • Repositories: rawhide (unstable)
  • Releases/Branched - Development branch (ramo di sviluppo) che dura tra pre-Alpha e post-Beta. Per questa distribuzione, si effettuano aggiornamenti giornalieri con controlli per promuovere la stabilità.
    • Mirrors: development/40
    • Repositories: fedora (stable), updates-testing (unstable)
  • Le ultime due release pubbliche ancora supportate
    • Mirrors: releases/39, releases/38
    • Repositories: fedora (frozen), updates (stable), updates-testing (unstable)
