What is system-config-kdump?

system-config-kdump is a graphical user interface that allows the user to configure kernel crash dumping via kdump and kexec.

Grab the latest source from SVN

You can get the current source using the following commands:

  • Old version

For now it's HEAD

$ git clone git://
$ cd system-config-kdump
  • New version

New version uses python-slip, DBus and PolicyKit.

$ git clone git://
$ cd system-config-kdump
$ git checkout --track -b new origin/new
