Description
This test case tests the ability of Rkhunter to scan a host for rootkits and anomalies.
Setup
- Ensure the
rkhunter
package is installed.
How to test
- Update Rkhunter data: rkhunter --update
- Check for rootkits: rkhunter --check
Expected Results
- You should see Rkhunter results.
- Double-check the results in the Rkhunter logs, located in /var/log/rkhunter/rkhunter.log
