John J. McDonough

John J. McDonough is a retired software professional who has been a long term user of Fedora / Red Hat.

Although his focus through the latter part of his career was on the software process, he still loves to grok a little code when the excuse arises. He has consulted on software process improvement with multinational companies all over the world. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

John's development experience covers the gamut from embedded microcontrollers to IBM mainframes and from pre-CP/M operating systems to F10.
