Marcus Asshauer

About me

My name is Marcus Asshauer, I am 30 years old and live in Altena, North Rhine-Westfalia. I study applied computer science in Iserlohn. I have been working as Linux/Unix - systemadministrator for 3 years bevor getting engaged as head of it for a local company.

Since 2000 i am using linux systems on my desktops and server. My first linux was a SuSE Linux 5.x. After trying some distributions like Gentoo and Debian i ended up with (K)Ubuntu for many years. I tried to find some new experinces with a rpm-based distribution and remembered Fedora which was recommended to me on a linux convention some time ago.
