This page is open to anyone to edit - if you can think of good use cases I should try out to see the difference between GNOME and KDE (and future desktops for comparison) please add them to the list below!

Use cases

  1. remap keyboard (swap ctrl and capslock)
  2. set typing break reminder (2 minutes every hour, postponeable)
  3. set keyboard shortcuts (hotkey for launching terminal)
  4. check email
  5. surf the web
  6. play music
  7. file last week's pictures in my homedir (using gui)
  8. more ideas here
