I am a student currently involved in various education-related activities in Fedora, OLPC and SugarLabs. I'm the founder of the Education SIG and have been working on the Fedora Education Spin, which is scheduled for release with F12. I also am a member of the the OLPC SIG and an ambassador in Germany. Recent events I attended include the LinuxTag, FOSDEM and CeBIT. I have also been leading the Fedora-based Sugar on a Stick project within Sugar Labs, which has seen a successful v1 release last June.
Deliverables for FUDCon Toronto 2009
- Co-running "OLPC, Sugar, Sugar on a Stick and Fedora Oh My!" session
- SoaS USB stick filling station
- Discussion with Edu SIG members on how to proceed for F13
- Presumably a hackfest on Sugar {on a Stick} within Fedora (work in progress!)
