About Me I am Shobhit based in Bangalore, India I have been working on GNU Linux for as long as I can remember and have almost one and a half decade of experience in Linux kernel development and Linux system software. My interest in Linux started while I was still in college and ever since have been using/working on multiple Linux distros from the early stages of Red Hat to today's Fedora 21. Though I have been working a lot in Linux professionally, open source contributions have started from last few years mainly in Linux Kernel (kernel.org) and I have been enjoying every bit of it. I also enjoy training and mentoring and have given multiple workshops on working in Linux environment. What I do Working as Display Architect in Intel India for Intel's Gen Graphics chipstes Active Linux kernel developer with multiple contributions to kernel.org Contributed a bulk of DSI support for Intel's SoCs in upstream kernel Have given multiple training for development in Linux Environments - Network Programming Programming in Linux Environment Linux Kernel Internal Linux device driver development Debugging in Linux environment Also Conduct one-two days workshop at Colleges and University on various Linux/Android topics.
