The Page naming section of the [[Help:Wiki_structure|structure docs]] says not use nesting anymore. Those rules are not enforced but a category "Flock/2019" looks wired.
Thanks for the hint about the redirect issue.

Revision as of 09:51, 24 March 2019
User pages
Please move all of the content from FabianAffolter to User:Fab and redirect the page appropriately as per Fedora wiki guidelines. --Ian Weller 22:48, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
why you are moving sub pages (to stand alone pages)
hey!
Fab moved page Chaos Communication Congress/2017 to Chaos Communication Congress 2017 and stuff like that is not clear for me.
(btw: one day before (sunday 2019-03-17) i was directly on the other side of the wall the fedora flag was pinned (at the Chemnitzer Linuxtage/2019).
nice to see activities on the wiki

The whole subpage thing is a left-over from the migration from moinmoin to mediawiki. It's still possible to use it but nowadays most pages are miss-placed and already belong to a category.
--Fab (talk) 13:38, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
no. i was doing it that (sub page) way. i thought that is the best way. (are there other guidelines for that?)
btw: i also created the categories that way. and the category Category:Flock/2017 (a category for all the pages of the flock 2017 event) was (sub) categorized as one of the Category:events 2017.
:-/
now you created a (circle) problem (by accident).
Category:Flock 2017 → Category:Flock/2017 → Category:Flock 2017 Category:Flock/2017 → Category:Flock 2017 → Category:Flock/2017
you can see this at Special:DoubleRedirects.
would you like to roll back all your "moinmoin" changes?
