SurvivalKit for LinuxTag, Berlin

All information has been taken from VBB .

There are different tickets available:

Price: EUR 1.30

Price: EUR 2.10

Price: EUR 6.10 (zones A and B in Berlin)

Price: EUR 26.20 (zones A and B in Berlin)

a single trip to the C zone (e.g. to Schoenefeld airport). Price: EUR 1.40

Zones A and B cover the Tegel airport, our accomodation, the LinuxTag and most of Berlin. You need a ABC ticket to/from the Schoenefeld airport. Tempelhof airport is closed.

See map . The short-haul ticket will not suffice to travel between any airport and the accomodation, the accomodation and the LinuxTag or any airport and the LinuxTag.

Be aware that you cannot buy weekly tickets at the ticket machines in the tram or at the bus driver's desk. They are avaliable in stores and train stations If using a bus you must enter at the first door and show your ticket (or buy one).

You must validate a ticket (it gets stamped with the day, time and location) bought at shops or counters of the underground or S-Bahn stations when starting a journey. Tickets bought in trams and busses are already validated.

A single ticket is valid for two hours. You cannot use it for round or return trips.
