Frank Arnold

Past stages in my professional life are Electrician at a small workshop, Production Technician and later on Maintenance Technician at a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Dresden. Through some happenstance I slipped into AMD's Operating System Research Center (OSRC). Now I'm in charge of testing a whole range of software on AMD CPU's and chipsets. Currently, we focus on Xen, KVM, Linux distributions, and Linux kernels. And we're trying to automate this stuff as far as possible, of course.

I'm using Linux since Red Hat Linux 5.2. I fiddled with C64 assembler, Basic, Comal, Pascal, Python, Perl, C, and PHP. But nothing too serious, and forgot most of it. Shell scripting and Python are my beloved workhorses right now.
