Here's the process the UX wrangler will need to manage:

  • Update the team on the status of design team UX projects at weekly meetings.
  • Help recruit & on-board new UX contributors by providing orientation to an active UX project.
  • Make sure the Fedora community knows about the UX projects that are currently ongoin and to assist in recruiting additional community members to get involved. This can be done on planet.fedoraproject.org, on the design-team mailing list, and/or on identi.ca and twitter with the #fedora hashtag.
  • Act as a liason between development and design on UX projects. If a developer is slow to respond to a design team provided UX artifact, the UX wrangler should check in with them. Vice-versa, if a developer wants an update on the UX progress of a project, the wrangler will provide an update to the developer.
