The current diversity statement appears to be taken from https://www.python.org/community/diversity/ as far as I know, the text on this site is not available as CCA and really Fedora diversity should have their own unique statement for fedora as a whole. I suggest mentioning that Fedora is a leader in FOSS and diversity efforts here will have far reaching effects. Diversity is important because it is the right thing, and you are making sure people who want to contribute are able to regardless of their abilities, social class, religion, sexual preferences, gender or race/ethnicity. I don't feel totally comfortable editing the diversity statement myself, so I am adding my thoughts here. Meskarune (talk) 22:38, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
