Reviewer Role

The contributor with reviewer status should work as a bond between the coordination staff and the translators. With the increasing number of translators, it gets only harder and harder for the coordinator to catch up with what they're doing, mentor new translators and review what is being translated. Therefore, the reviewer is a key contributor if you pay attention to the translation flow.

In Zanata, the reviewer will review what has been translated so far but is still unapproved. With supposedly more experience than regular translators, now and then the reviewer will notice and fix mistakes and approve the translations. But not only that, reviewers should be the ones mentoring new translators, while the coordination staff is planning Fedora Activity Days, strategies to bring new contributors, accepting new people and so on.
