About me

Hello there!

I'm Juan Carlos, a tech enthusiast standing in a corner of the third world. My life is far from the typical 'freeway' road... actually has been quite winding so far: I'm a sociologist with an MBA that has worked in the public sector, commerce, NGOs, as a content creator, tech journalist and, since mid 2022, in the advertisement business. And yes, there's no trace of a technical background for this tech enthusiast.

I started my Linux journey since late 2021 when I installed Pop!_OS on a 2007 iMac. From there I've been more involved in the movement (I'm more an 'Open Source' than a 'Free Software' guy)... specially when it comes to giving the end-user more control over their own devices.

Besides that, I'm into writting, listening to good music and learning what's to learn.
