I want to improve my coding skills as well as Linux knowledge. Writing software for a Linux distribution looks like a great challange.
I've been using Linux for many years and now I would like to join the community and repay for the great work. That being said, I think that Fedora would be a great choice, since it is one of the main Linux distributions. I would like to improve my coding skills as well and that is why I have chosen this project. It combines my experience in web technologies and Linux.

I use Linux for many years, as a user, as well as an administrator. This, complementing with good coding skills, gives me the possibility to write apps, which will fits users requirements. I learn quickly and I'm reliable.
I've been using Linux for many years both as a user and an administrator. I have experience as a developer of web applications designed to handle millions of users (NK.pl - biggest Polish social networking service, Ten Square Games - social games provider). I am comfortable with solving complicated problems since I am a long-time participant in algorithmic programming contests (Codeforces, SPOJ, CEPC, AMPPZ, deadline24 and many others). I'm an organiser of the algorithmic contest named PIZZA for over a hundred of participants. I was an administrator on three Polish Olympiad in Informatics contests.

Why do you want to work with the Fedora Project?

I've been using Linux for many years and now I would like to join the community and repay for the great work. That being said, I think that Fedora would be a great choice, since it is one of the main Linux distributions. I would like to improve my coding skills as well and that is why I have chosen this project. It combines my experience in web technologies and Linux.

Do you have any past involvement with the Fedora project or another open source project as a contributor?

Unfortunately no.

Did you participate with the past GSoC programs, if so which years, which organizations?

No.

Will you continue contributing/ supporting the Fedora project after the GSoC 2014 program, if yes, which team(s), you are interested with?

At this point I want to better know this system working with parts that I know from server administration (connected with daemons). In the future I'd like to take part in development of some parts written in C++. I'm also willing to use that control panel on my own server, so I will be making some improvements in the future.

Why should we choose you over other applicants?

I've been using Linux for many years both as a user and an administrator. I have experience as a developer of web applications designed to handle millions of users (NK.pl - biggest Polish social networking service, Ten Square Games - social games provider). I am comfortable with solving complicated problems since I am a long-time participant in algorithmic programming contests (Codeforces, SPOJ, CEPC, AMPPZ, deadline24 and many others). I'm an organiser of the algorithmic contest named PIZZA for over a hundred of participants. I was an administrator on three Polish Olympiad in Informatics contests.
