I am a Linux Systems Engineer at Rackspace.  I started using Linux in 2009, and have been doing RPM packaging since 2014.
I am the EPEL team lead in the Community Platform Engineering (CPE) group at Red Hat.

I was first exposed to the command line while attending a Solaris class in the U.S. Army in 2004.  I didn't get to work with it as much as I would have liked, but my fondness of the command line stuck.  I started using Ubuntu in 2009, and before long was a full-fledged distro-hopper.  After I left the Army in 2011, I got a job as a systems administrator at Rackspace.  In 2014 I switched to a team doing RPM packaging and maintaining the [https://ius.io/ IUS] repository.  This is about the time I started consistently using Fedora as my main OS and contributing back to Fedora and EPEL.  In 2019 I joined the CentOS team at Red Hat.  In 2022 I started a new team at Red Hat to specifically focus on EPEL activities.  On this team I've lead the implementation of EPEL Next, EPEL 9, and am currently working on EPEL 10.
