Summary

Bugzappers proposals

Should packages(java, etc) enter Fedora w/o approved packaging guidelines?

  • FESCo approved a proposal for the Fedora Packaging Committe (FPC) to determine when guidelines are needed for a type of packages, and will hold all such packages from entering until a basic set of guidelines is approved. *Please note that Java guidelines are up for approval at next week's FPC meeting.
    • For: bpepple, dwmw2, tibbs, nirik, f13, warren, spot, dgilmore
    • Against: jeremy
    • Abstain: notting, jwb

F9 Release Schedule

  • Discussed whether the final release date for F9 needed to be slipped due to the recent slips in the Alpha & Beta release. Since no one from the QA was available during the meeting, it was decided that a decision would be made at next week's FESCo meeting.
