English version

1) Local organisation (Fedora-fr)

Titax finalized the end of the document this week for Fedora-FR Organisation (Due date October 27th).

Saturday after Paris 'Install Party' we plan an election of French Fedora steering committee of the organisation.

2) T-shirts

A contest for the logo is opened. (news on fedora-france )
We decide to pospone the contest to November 03rd.

Several logos will be retained.

We decided to create a special web page where you found all logo : (http://doc.fedora-fr.org/Propositions_de_Logos_T-Shirts)

Ikarios.fr will be in charge of the printing.

3) FreeMedia Program

A request is pending but MrTom wil accept it.

4) Fedora Party

- Paris (2006 oct 28th):

  • Material provided by Parinux (Paris LUG).
  • Installation by Lan (http - FTP).
  • Burn some DVD and copy the ISO file into the end user hard drive.
  • Shows : Xen : 'William_H', AIGLX : 'LLaumgui'.

- Lille (2006 oct 21rd):

  • MrTom, trashy, littlecharly and [splinux] were on site.
  • Lots of people liked the 3d effects, this is a major point to promote in Fedora.
  • During the day, we had a lot of discussion with the Fedora Users and we had positive feedbacks.
  • One installation, but lots of questions arround Fedora.

5) Fedora-fr Website

  • Promote the new Fedora-FR web site on some linux Web-Site (linuxfr - Lea - Linux Pour Les Nuls - ...)
  • llaumgui creates a blog section info Fedora-FR web site.
  • Armel prepares the French Announcement of Fedora Core 6 and the new Fedora-FR web site (Due date Monday October 23rd)

Version française

1) Association Fedora-fr

Titax finalise les status de l'association Fedora-fr (vendredi 27 Octobre).

Samedi 29 Octobre apres 'Linstall Party', nous voterons pour l'election de bureau executif de Fedora-fr.

Il faudra aussi se préoccuper du règlement.

2) T-shirts Fedora

Le concours pour le logo des T-shirts est ouvert. (nouvelle sur fedora-france )
Nous avons décider de prolonger la date de cloture du concours au 03 Novembre.

Plusieurs logos devraient être retenus.

L'entreprise retenue pour l'impression des T-shirt est Ikario (entre autres parce que nous n'avons pas à gerer les stock, ni l'envoi).

Le prix du T-shirt ne devrait pas dépasser 15 euros.

3) Programme FreeMedia

Pas de nouvelles demandes pour la France.

Pour rappel, la liste est fedora-freemedia-list .

4) Fedora Party

- Paris (28 oct 2006):

  • Matériel fourni par Parinux (GUL parisien)
  • Présentations : Xen : 'William_H', AIGLX : 'LLaumgui'
  • L'installation se fera par reseau (http - FTP)
  • Plusieurs copies de DVD seront faite et l image ISO sera copiée sur le disque dur de l'utilisateur finale.

- Lille (21 Octobre 2006):

  • MrTom, trashy et xxxx étaient pour cette journée
  • Beaucoup de personnes ont adoré les effets 3D, c'est sans doute l'un des points à mettre en avant lors des présentations.
  • Durant la journée, il y a eu beaucoup de discussion avec des utilisateurs de Fedora et nous sommes tres bien perçu par ceci et nous avons des retours très positifs.
  • Une seule installation, mais beaucoup de question autour de Fedora.

5) Le site

  • Promotion du nouveau site Fedora-FR sur d'autres sites web (linuxfr - Lea - Linux Pour Les Nuls - ...)
  • llaumgui va créer une section blog sur le serveur Fedora-FR
  • Armel prépare l'annonce de Fedora Core 6 et du nouveau site web Fedora-FR (Revue Lundi 23 Octobre)
