The Documentation Project is looking[1] for lead writers for some of the published documentation, such as the release notes. Lead writers are responsible for making sure the information in the documentation is updated for the current release, some editing tasks and publication duties.

He detailed some of his hurdles with writing release note beats for Fedora 10 and ways he worked through them. While there hasn't been a lot of follow-up discussion hopefully there will be some refinement in writing processes after some more people weigh in.
