The beats usually report mostly from mailing list, but this time it will be impossible to do so. Marketing FAD took place during this period, and so many important thing happened that mailing list did not reflect truth about the work done. The very first stop should be to look at Marketing FAD wiki <ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Marketing_FAD_2010</ref> which has been updated and ordered to be easily readable by Mel. <ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Mchua</ref>
Mel Chua<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-March/012214.html</ref> started a thread about briefing Ambassadors wich got a wiki page<ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F13_Ambassadors_briefing</ref> to get started with ideas. This came back from marketing FAD as a way to create bridges among Marketing and Ambassadors. The idea is to provide tools for Ambassadors dealing with new release activities.

On the wiki you will find links to meeting logs, photos, videos and blogs that will allow you get an idea of those amazing four days at Raleigh. There will be more about Marketing FAD as there are ripples of task that will be seeing shortly and hopefully listed in the marketing beat.
Max Spevack unleashed a wiki challenge<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-March/012219.html</ref> and created a wiki<ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Wiki_challenge</ref> page to keep track of this challenge. This consist in look statistics for pages with high number of request and low maintenance, to update those pages.

One of the big outcomes of this meeting was the Marketing Plan <ref>http://www.braincache.de/wp/2010/03/14/fedora-mktg-fad-2010-day-1/ </ref>, that will help us to prioritize activities that are related to Educate, Build Bridges, Spread the Brand and Build Ramps.
Paul Frields<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-April/012275.html</ref> pointed us to a wiki page where we can start working on Fedora 13 Beta Announcement<ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F13_Beta_announcement</ref>.

On another topic, there is a warm up for a press release about for Google Summer of Code <ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-March/011992.html </ref>. This is just a preparation as there is no answer yet to confirm that Fedora and JBoss are accepted as a umbrella organization. More information is avalible on the wiki <ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/GSoC_2010_plan</ref> <ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/GSoC_2010</ref>
Mel Chua<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-April/012227.html</ref> reports from Allegheny College that she has 40 students engaged on doing some hand on work for Fedora Marketing which now is just gearing up, but soon we shall see a lot of work produced.

Finally, I think we have a trend in marketing team about Meta_Marketing, like having several how-to on writing how-to. This time we have a thread <ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-March/012021.html</ref> raising awareness on how important is for our activities to read Fedora Weekly News, and I am reporting this in the Fedora Weekly News.
We now have a valuable resource for recording video interviews<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-April/012244.html</ref>, Ryan Rix uploaded a video<ref>http://blip.tv/file/3396406</ref> of Colby Hoke in an impromptu "how to do interviews". Colby s part of Red Hat Public Relationship staff.

There is a call for help made by Neville Cross<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-April/012245.html</ref> to help with modules of what will be a more comprehensive Press Kit<ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F13_press_kit</ref>

Amit Shah<ref>http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2010-April/012267.html</ref> shared some fine articles published in "Linux For You" magazine regarding virtualization and put all of them available on the wiki<ref>https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Magazine_articles_on_virtualization</ref>

Finally after a call of "No_meeting_today" there was a meeting anyway, we have got momentum and keep up the work, logs are available as usual<ref>http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting-1/2010-04-06/fedora_marketing.2010-04-06-20.02.html</ref>.
