Jones provided lots of libguestfs tips: Edit the Windows Registry in your VMs from the host, using virt-rescue on raw file or disk images (in addition to VM images), quickly getting help in guestfish, using virt-df to find out when filesystems are full (and an update) and using hivex to unpack a Windows Boot Configuration Data (BCD) hive.
