Translation deadline and Review Package Build Request
Issues with docs.fedoraproject.org
The first phase of software translation for Fedora 12 has been completed on September 10th 2009. Unlike other earlier releases, for Fedora 12 the translators in FLP would be able to review and update these translations until 22nd September 2009. This has been made possible by the approval from FESCo to allow the FLP's request to be provided with test builds of the Fedora Packages.
Post the redesign of the docs.fedoraproject.org main page, Domingo Becker informed about some errors being displayed in the Installation Guide and Installation Quick Start Guide for Fedora 11. Ruediger Landmann explained that this error was often caused due to complicated format in which .po files needed to be merged and then divided back to suit the requirement of documentation compilation tool, publican. Additionally, he also mentioned that errors such as these can be filed as bugs in bugzilla.redhat.com.

FLSCo member Noriko Mizumoto and FLP Admin team member Ankit Patel are currently co-ordinating with the maintainers of 48 packages, for which rebuilds have been requested by the FLP. Individual bugs have been filed for each of these packages along with instructions and tracked via a master tracker bug. As per the Fedora Schedule, the package builds are to be completed by 14th  September 2009.
Meanwhile, John J. McDonough has been running automatic updates for the Fedora 12 Release Notes. Translation errors (if any) affecting the build are reported directly to the fedora-trans mailing list.

Freeze Break for imsettings
LiveUSB Creator Translations Not Being Used
The maintainer of the imsettings package Akira Tagoh, requested for a freeze break for the package to resolve a bug file against some of the strings in the .po file. The freeze break request was granted and the strings have been updated.
Domingo Becker from the Spanish translation team, reported that the translations for liveusb-creator were not currently being used.

As a follow-up of a discussion on the gnome-i18n mailing list, Rui Gouveia raised the possibility of adding a feature to gather translator related metrics related to Fedora, through Transifex.

Post the redesign of the docs.fedoraproject.org main page, Domingo Becker informed about some errors being displayed in the Installation Guide and Installation Quick Start Guide for Fedora 11[1]. Ruediger Landmann explained that this error was often caused due to complicated format in which .po files needed to be merged and then divided back to suit the requirement of documentation compilation tool, publican[2]. Additionally, he also mentioned that errors such as these can be filed as bugs in bugzilla.redhat.com.

Meanwhile, John J. McDonough has been running automatic updates for the Fedora 12 Release Notes. Translation errors (if any) affecting the build are reported directly to the fedora-trans mailing list[3][4].

LiveUSB Creator Translations Not Being Used
