LibreOffice(R) is a fork of OpenOffice(R) with the support of the community and many major software backers, including Red Hat(R)

LibreOffice(R) can continue without hampering from Oracle(R) should it decide to kill the project like it did to OpenSolaris(R). LibreOffice(R) is supposed to include derivative works from derived versions of OpenOffice(R) such as Go-OO(R) (


LibreOffice(R) must be packaged and tested to be incorporated into the Fedora 15 repositories.
