Sindhi
Sindhi (Arabic script: سنڌي, Devanagari script: सिन्धी, Sindhī) is the language of the Sindh region of South Asia, which is a province of Pakistan. It is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by approximately 41 million people in Pakistan, and 12 million in India; it is the second most spoken language of Pakistan, a recognized official language in Pakistan and also an official language in India. Government of Pakistan issues National Identity Cards to its citizens only in two languages, i.e. Sindhi and Urdu. Although the language is predominantly Indo-Aryan, it also shows signs of heavy Dravidian influence. Most Sindhi speakers in Pakistan are concentrated in the Sindh province. The remaining speakers are found in India and amongst the Sindhi diaspora community which are scattered throughout the world. The Sindhi language has spread as the Hindu Sindhis left Sindh during the Independence of Pakistan in 1947. The language is written in Devanagari script by Sindhi Hindus; however, with the conversion of most Sindhis to Islam, a modified Arabic script was produced.[1] After the independence of both India and Pakistan from British rule, the Government of India introduced Devanagari, alongside the modified Arabic, for writing Sindhi. Add Sindhi language technical(i18n) support to the latest upstream Fedora by localizing all applications/packages of Fedora & solve the i18n issues related to Sindhi.

Detailed Description
Since Sindhi is also written using Devanagari script, it is possible to support this language technically as Devanagari is already a supported script. Major work from i18n perspective would be to ensure the locale definition, fonts addition and input methods for this language which would be based on other Devanagari fonts and IMs.
Benefit to Fedora
Adding one new language will create a community of fedora users from that particular language speaking people. It will be an encouraging step for Sindhi audience for fedora. Eventually, it may attract developers/translators to work for fedora.
Scope
Requires technical(i18n) support for the language to be established along with translation work to attain a complete localization support for this language.
Test Plan
1. Solve all i18n related issues 2. Localize existing fedora essential modules
User Experience
Users will be able to use their language on fedora. Initially the UI will not be available completely in the native language, but still basic functionality, such as input(typing) and output(display) will be available which will be helpful in further developments.
