The Fedora Project is a global partnership of free software community members. The Fedora Project is sponsored by [http://www.redhat.com/ Red Hat], which invests in our [[infrastructure]] and resources to encourage collaboration and incubate innovative new technologies.  Some of these technologies may later be integrated into Red Hat products. == How do I get involved? ==
= This Wiki =

There are many ways to [http://join.fedoraproject.org/ contribute] to the Fedora distribution and the community that surrounds it. We have a large community full of talented and energetic [http://planet.fedoraproject.org/ people] who enjoy meeting new contributors and helping them learn how to participate in Fedora.  The list below provides links to each team and sub-project.  Use it to visit a team that interests you.  On the team page you can find out how to contact other community members and get involved in the Fedora community.  We can't wait to meet you.
Wikis can be many things — encyclopedias, workspaces, whiteboards, and more. While many great docs sites are built from wikis, we've discovered that mixing all of those things together really causes chaos. Our documentation resides on [https://docs.fedoraproject.org/ its own site] and this wiki is strictly a contributor workspace.

Wikis can be many things — encyclopedias, workspaces, whiteboards, and more. While many great docs sites are built from wikis, we've discovered that mixing all of those things together really causes chaos. Our documentation resides on its own site and this wiki is strictly a contributor workspace.

If you're a Fedora user, you're welcome to browse around — see the subprojects menu at the top for some places to start.

Note that you'll need a Fedora account and to be in at least one Fedora subproject group on that account to make wiki edits.
