FIG Job Description: sysadmin-cvs

Members of sysadmin-cvs will be tasked with maintaining the SCM repositories for the Infrastructure team. Members of sysadmin-cvs maintain all SCM hosts and services including the lookaside cache.

Level of commitment

Average 4 hours per week

Expected duties

• Creating SCM repos and branches
• Maintaining SCM repos and branches
• Troubleshoot remote access issues
• Working with package maintainers on SCM issues
• Handle SCM admin requests

Required skills

• Git repository expertise
• CVS repository expertise
• Experience with mid-level system administration tasks and troubleshooting (user / filesystem permissions, remote connectivity, etc)

• PackageDB - Fedora Package Database (PackageDB Trac PackageDB wiki)
