"High Definition Audio" (snd-hda-intel) Driver Options

To change the model name, edit /etc/modprobe.conf and look for the line with options for the HDA driver. It should look something like this (there may not even be a "model" option):

alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=acer

Change or add a model from the list below. To find out which codec your card has, check scsconfig.log.
