License Notes

This license is considered Free and GPL-Compatible. It is derived from the BSD license, but contains an additional redistribution clause.

It is most commonly found on the Berkeley DB code, which also contains code that is multi-licensed with the "normal" BSD license by multiple copyright holders (most notably The Regents of the University of California, The President and Fellows of Harvard University, and INRIA).
