The Zero-Clause BSD license is the most poorly named license in the FOSS licensing world. It has nothing to do with BSD, but is derived from the MIT license. The key difference between this permissive license and the rest of the MIT variants is the lack of requirement to retain the license or copyright notice. It is also missing sublicensing permission. It is free and GPL-compatible.
