Description

Create a network bond with Cockpit

Setup

Open Cockpit in your browser as described here.

Make sure you have at least two unused network interfaces (in addition to the one that you use to connect with your browser to your machine).

If you don't have enough real (or virtual) ones, you can also create some VLAN interfaces with these steps.

How to test

  1. Navigate to the "Networking" page for your machine.
  2. Create a bond out of two unused network interfaces.
  3. Observe how the new bond interface replaces it's two members on the page.
  4. Remove one of the members and then add it back.
  5. Delete the bond.

Expected Results

No errors should occur.
