Monitor network I/O with Cockpit

Setup

Open Cockpit in your browser as described here.

How to test

  1. Navigate to the "Network" page of your machine.
  2. Download and/or upload some big file.
  3. Observe the graphs and "Sending" and "Receiving" columns at the top of the page.
  4. Hover with your mouse over the graphs.

Expected Results

The page should show the ongoing network traffic. Hovering over a graph should highlight the corresponding network interface.
